USUK: McDonald's at Midnight

England looked up at the shadowed building in distaste. He had never thought he would end up going to one of these places, ever, but… there was America to deal with. He should have known he would end up here someday.

His bright green eyes looked over the red and yellow building, taking note of the lack of people there. It was, after all, close to midnight. Which was why he did not particularly want to be there.

Arthur looked over at Alfred, irritated, but his eyes softened when he noticed the ecstatic smile complimenting the other man's features. He watched him, seeing his clear blue eyes looking around in excitement, and let a smile of his own appear - a small one, but there all the same. For a certain reason, one of which he wasn’t sure he wanted to admit, Alfred had a strange effect on him. His head snapped up when he felt a warm finger prod his shoulder.

"Hey, c'mon Iggy! I'm starving over here~!" He laughed loudly, eyes sparkling in amusement.

Arthur blushed slightly.

"G- Git! Don’t just poke me like that!" He exclaimed, looking up at him. He watched his expression, eyes widening when he saw hurt for a split second, but just like that the emotion was gone.

Alfred laughed again, not saying anything about Arthur's insult. "Let's gooo~" He sang at him in a slightly whiney voice.

Arthur sighed guiltily, then turned towards the door, grabbing the other man's hand in the process. He started to stride towards it purposefully.

"Ah- Hey, wait, Iggy! W-What are you doing?!" The other man asked as he was dragged along behind.

"Going inside, what does it look like?" Both were then silent until they entered the building and reached the cash register. Alfred stepped foreword, speaking rapidly in what Arthur thought could have been another language, but he knew it was just because he'd never been here. He scowled slightly at what his language had become, but he didn’t feel that irritated for once. It was a few seconds after that when he realized they were still holding each other's hands. He blushed red, trying to free his hand, but Alfred held on tight. Arthur gave him a questioning look, but all he received was a warm smile in return. His cheeks flushed further.

As Alfred's food came up, this time he was the one dragged over to a table. He stumbled slightly, about to protest, until he was pulled into a seat next to the American. Next to him and close to him. Their shoulders were almost touching. In fact, they were still holding hands too. Poor Iggy. His blush wasn’t leaving his cheeks any time soon.

'Er, A-America?" The man didn’t turn, stuffing his face with a hamburger happily. He sighed, smiling slightly at the other, and spoke again.

"Alfred?"

The man next to him paused his eating, looking over at him with surprised eyes. It wasn’t often Arthur used his real name.

"What's up, Ig- … Arthur?" He laughed, finishing off the burger, picking up some chips, then looking over at the other man. Arthur coughed slightly in embarrassment.

"I was wondering… what does this all actually taste like?" He said off the top of his head. He rubbed his neck sheepishly with his free hand.

Alfred paused, then grinned, putting down his chips, and leaned his head against his hand, elbow on the table. His face wore a clearly amused expression.

"Woah, Iggs, of all people, wants to try my food?" He snickered. Arthur blushed.

"N- No, I was just--" Before he could finish a reasonable number of the chips were stuffed into his mouth. Alfred leaned close, watching his reaction.

Arthur closed his eyes, expecting it to be horrible, but opened them slightly as he chewed gingerly. He swallowed, frowning and thinking. Alfred bounced slightly in anticipation.

"Well~?"

He cleared his throat, looking away with his flushed cheeks clear. "… It… wasn’t that bad…"

The next thing he knew he had been pulled into a tight hug by a laughing American. His face flushed completely red against Alfred's (toned and muscular--//shot) chest.

"Thanks dude! Glad you finally see the light!" Alfred grinned down at him. Arthur looked up at him and said nothing, but after a few seconds spoke quietly.

"I only tried the chips though… I'm guessing your burgers are worse." He muttered, hiding his embarrassed face slightly. Alfred chuckled, looking over at his food.

"Well, I've kinda eaten all of them… but you can still have some, if you want."

"How the bloody hell am I supposed to if you’ve ea--" He was cut off once more by Alfred's eager lips on his.

His head was spinning and face flushed as Alfred brought him tight against him, tilting his head and deepening the kiss. Somewhere along the line, Arthur was kissing back, arms up around Alfred's neck, and his hands finding their way into his dirt blonde hair. Alfred had slipped a tighter grip around his waist, tilting him slightly backwards against his chair. Alfred broke first, licking his lips, making Arthur's blush ten thousand times worse. His blue eyes searched his green curiously.

"Well? How did it taste?"

His head was foggy and his heart was beating at a thousand miles an hour. Forgetting entirely where they were, who's food he had just eaten, and what countries they were, he looked up at him, eyes a slightly darker hue, and smiled crookedly.

"Good… but you know…" He paused for effect, feeling Alfred's arms tighten from the suspense.

"… I'm still hungry." He chuckled, leaning up slightly to meet Alfred's grinning lips halfway.
